Square toes, crocodile skin, triple-buckles, and bohemian fringing are just some of the things you might not have been expecting to come back into fashion so soon, and yet here they are. Yes they are back in fashion.

It’s a logical flow-on from the one-shoulder fashion trend; a new breed of draping Grecian Goddess dresses. A notable runway trend for 2009, anything with a Grecian or Romanesque inspiration is a sure hit for the Spring/Summer 2009 season.

Who Designed It
Classical one-shoulder draping graced the runways of Elie Saab, Valentino and others, while Kenzo’s dresses had more of a Romanesque tunic feel to them.

Boyfriend jeans have recently been named as one of the first fashion trends of 2009 after being seen on several different high end celebrities. Luckily the powers that be didn’t officially deem “boyfriend jeans” as a real trend until seeing them sported on a myriad of other celebrities because, as we all know, Katie Holmes post-Tom Cruise is slightly less than a train wreck; considering her new fashion choice was not seen as a fashion choice at all, but caused a stirring about an alleged second child on the way for Katie and Tom.
