There is certainly a fall trend in hair and beauty for everyone for this autumn.

Sultry, kohl-rimmed eyes, graphic brows and look–at-me lashes are a surefire option for those with a flair for the dramatic. Fresh faces and ponytails are perfect for the more laid-back ladies, and slept-in ”I don’t care” hairstyles and makeup — circa Kate Moss from the early 1990s — will be a cool kid favorite.

M.A.C. Cosmetics senior makeup artist Romero Jennings summed it up best: “Makeup for Fall 2010 was really technical and moody! Some of the looks were so moody they seemed to be deep in thought.”

Celebrities Love Simone Camille Bags

Posted by admin On August - 7 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

I only recently become aware of Simone Camille when their range of bags were added to Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International two weeks ago.

You’ll maybe surprised to learn that they have been restocked several times as the bags instantly sell-out.

I’m a bit behind because celebs like Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie and Jennifer Meyer have been fans of these bags for a while.

Julia Roberts arrived for her appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” wearing a black tee and J Brand jeans which is quite a typical look for her, but it was her Simone Camille which stood out.

60s Dress / Full Skirt: Women’s Trend

Posted by admin On July - 27 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

It’s no great accident that the popularity of Mad Men has coincided with a resurgence in early ’60s fashion. A sartorial inspiration to men and women alike, we’ve seen an avalanche of elements from the era spill over into fashion’s impressionable mind; and the bulk of the torrent is yet to come.

So say bonjour to fuller figures and longer hemlines as the skirt and dress silhouettes of the late ’50s / early ’60s swing their way back onto the scene as a 2010 / 2011 fashion trend.

Fall 2010 Nail Trend: Yves Saint Laurent

Posted by admin On July - 10 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Usually, the make-up collections offer a focus on the eyes or (more rarely) lips. Never were so many nails in the center of a collection. With “Rock and Baroque” Yves Saint Laurent stands and starts sewing the French manicure colors normally separate.

The varnish will be sold in pairs. First duo: “Beautiful Day” with a purple and turquoise. Surely one of the most daring duos. No fixed rule for this set of beautiful hands. It either to the turquoise on the entire nail and purple on the tip or vice versa. At each of the style you choose.

Second pair: Rive Gauche, probably the most daring, or just more summery. A daring right out of the kits in stores (August 16). The winter could quickly divert these two fluorescent colors, wrongly.

Third pair: Beautiful night, with a gold and purple. We imagine worn for the holidays of the year very easily. There is a fourth pair of French manicure, classic Y-cone. A pink and white, to make a classic French manicure.

Summer Trend 2010: Jumpsuits

Posted by admin On June - 28 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Jumpsuits – a groovy byproduct of the ’70s – have continued their resurgence for summer, and fortunately for all of us who adhere to seasonless dressing, will also take us into fall.

Though this trend tends to skew a bit younger, there are plenty of options for a variety of personality types and social situations. These cool utilitarian one-pieces have been produced by everyone from Givenchy toJ.Crew, Stella McCartney to Cynthia Rowley.

To wit, for the weekend or a daytime outing, try a silky black number with a tie waist and ruffle detail a laRichard Chai Love (far right). There are office appropriate jumpers too, courtesy of designers like Rachel Roy (center), who created a suit-like version. For evening, trade in your L.B.D. for a L.B.J. with a devastatingly chic tuxedo-inspired one-piece, Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz created the perfect prototype.

Primal prints are very much in for spring/summer 2010. Fashion designers like Dries Van Noten show cased mixed prints with contrasting layers at Paris fashion week spring/summer 2010, and then Diane von Furstenberg brought the idea of tribal trend to the runway at New york fashion week spring/summer 2010 with lovely maxi dresses. While all time super fashion designer Frida Giannini presented urban Warrior style at Milan fashion week Gucci spring/summer 2010.

Here are some of the runway looks:
